I guess, perhaps I was a bit too harsh on this little guy that day. He broke out of character on stage and it was not during rehearsal but on the actual performance! It was terrrible! I scolded him and he cried. Many people blamed me for making him cry and ask me to say sorry to him. I refused to because I see no point saying sorry when I don't think that I am wrong.

Perhaps I was wrong then. This little soul is hurt and he may not do well for the next performance and the further ones. But I still think that some scolding will do him some good!

Let me review the whole cast one by one. I'll start with myself first. I shall be very just in whatever I say.

Mao - He has very bad taste for clothes. During performance, his energy dropped and it was totally different from his rehearsals. Very dissapointing indeed. I thought that he would do better but he fail me. I guess, I shouldn't had relied on him too much. He cannot pose properly and is terribly unstylish. He disapoints everybody. 5/10

Hum - He disappear for a few sessions and called quit. However after constant pleas and beggings and scoldings to ask him back to finish this performance, he came back. He is easily distracted. Though the 'coal mining' and the fartings did irked us a lot, he is still very easy going, rarely getting angry. He should learn to focus more. 6/10

Jor - He is a great guy to work with. Very focused. He does all his things whole-heartedly. He rarely complains and even if he does, he doesn't grumble too much. A great guy. Just that he may be still new to Drama. Sometimes he may not be able to position himself in lights. Sometimes he does not try to move away from a certain spot even he is blcked by another cast. On the whole, Jor, keep up the good work! 8.5/10

Ann - Another very focused girl. She is very soft spoken though. However, she does not grumble at all. Even when she does splits for a long time and it hurts, she does not complain and suffer herself. Ann, learn to voice out your opinions out loud! 8/10

Jam - He is easily distracted and afraid to look stupid on stage in front of people. However, when he commits whole-heartedly to his actions, he shocks everyone with his performance which is really good! Jam, learn to control your laughter. 6/10

Rub - Good work Rub. Though she is busy with a lot of things, she still learnt to balance her time well. She is also quite focused. 8/10

Azm - Hmm, he has learnt how to interact with the audience through his performance. Thumbs up! However, he grumbles too much at the slightest things. He speaks very fast and his speech is blurred in the process. However, he did a splendid performance during the real show and he spoke slower. Keep up the good work! 7/10

Den - One thing bad about him is, he brings the energy of the whole play down. However, he has a very helpful personality. A pity though, nobody can make out what he is talking. Still can pass though. I think it'll be better for him if he becomes a crew member. No offence though. 5/10

Gen - She did a good job. However, one thing about her is she pre-anticipate things. So the audience can actually make out what is happening next! 8/10

Chi - He is a guy who don't complain a lot too. Despite rehearsing the falling scene time and time over, he did not complain too much. Very good job well done on his performance. He also learnt to interact with the audience. Good job done except that he sometimes forgets his actions. Another one of the unstylish gy. 'Reebok!' 7.5/10

Sha - Good job for her grades scene. THough there was no light on them, they still manage to continue the scene through with breaking out of character. I command Azman and her for their effort. 8/10

Phew, the Arts Fiesta is finally over! And I mean it, OVER!

Gosh, I thought that it would never end... ...

Well, one "exciting" school event down, many to go.

For a start, why not talk about my upcoming exams? Exams!? They are not important (Well, that is in my own opinioins, of course). But, who am I? Just a guy who acts and studies. Nothing much really. So how can I even convince our principal that mid year exams should be scrapped!

Dream on!!

Anyways, let us talk about the disastrous Arts Fiesta. Well, you cannot say tha it is totally terrible though because some nice things actually did happen. for example, the ex teachers came back and visited us.

Well, let us back-track abit to what happened in the morning. We had rehearsals at eleven. Went to the hall and snatched for the stage, as usual. I really wonder, if our school is niche in Performing Arts, why don't we have a proper stage, proper seats for the audience and proper sound and lights system? Really puzzle me.

We snatched for the stage (because drama is less significant and other performing groups have priority over us in using the stage like the dance). I mean, the stage is for all of us to share and use and rehearse to have a good performance right? However, if Drama has little priority in the use of the stage because we may not ahve performing as well as the other CCAs the previous years, it doesnt mean that we are deprived of the rights to use the stage.

I mean, you do want a good performance, don't you?

So, if you want great performances, you need rehearsal. To tell you the truth, Guess how many proper rehearsals with sounds, lights and visuals do we have? NONE!!!

Why? Because we don't get the stage!

Sigh, no point talking about it anymore. I guess the school will have it pains and sorrows... Blah blah blah... ... I don't care anymore.

I am stepping down after the Excel Day performance.

So, why should I care? Why bother? They don't bother, do they?

P.S. We paid to perform!
